Police and Israeli Defense Forces arrested Sunday night and early Monday morning 10 wanted terrorists and 282 Arabs without work permits. The workers were returned to Judea and Samaria. Twelve Israelis were arrested for transporting the illegal workers. The massive arrests came several hours after an Arab terrorist escaped following a stabbing attack on a soldier in Ramat Gan. The victim is recovering from moderate wounds.
The wanted terrorists were turned over to security officials for questioning. The army carries out the operations every night despite the Palestinian Authority’s deployment of armed forces that have been trained under American supervision to fight terror.
