A short heat wave will reach its peak Monday afternoon with temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius/91 Fahrenheit in Jerusalem, 34C/93 F in Tel Aviv and 38 C/100 F in Be’er Sheva. The thermometer will plummet on Tuesday by 12 degrees Celsius (20 degrees Fahrenheit) and light rain is expected in the north.
Temperatures will remain cool through Friday and it will be slightly warmer, without rain, on Friday and the Sabbath.
