Three residents of Bnei Brak will be indicted Sunday after being arrested on suspicion of attempting to burn down a police station. The three are suspected of trying to exact revenge on police, after they were arrested numerous times on robbery and violence charges.
The fire was set at the Dan Region police station in Bnei Brak. Firefighters were called in to put out the fire, which quickly spread throughout the station, and were able to prevent major damage. Investigators said they discovered evidence at the scene that pointed to the culprits. "The investigation showed that the three committed the crime simply because they hated the police and wanted to take revenge on the force," said a police spokesperson.
