Gaza Arab terrorists fired two mortar shells at Israeli towns near the Gaza border over Shabbat, frightening residents of several towns, who awoke on Shabbat morning to loud explosions. The "Red Color" early warning system was not sounded. No injuries or damage were reported. The attacks on Shabbat followed attacks Thursday night.
In response, Israel Air Force planes fired at smuggling tunnels along the Philadelphia Route on the Gaza-Sinai border. Gaza sources that two terrorists, who were in the tunnels at the time, were killed.
