Responding to the spread of the swine flu virus which has already claimed 170 lives in Mexico, Israel’s Ministry of Health decided to raise their alert level to five out of a possible six. The ministry’s director said the raised level is connected to fears of further spreading within the country.
Earlier today Switzerland became the latest country to report a case of the swine flu.
