A train traveling from Be’er Sheva to Dimona on Sunday stopped just short of crashing into concrete barriers which had been placed across the tracks. Police say they are not sure whether the sabotage had terrorist or criminal motives.
Captured terrorists have in the past admitted to have planned attacks against Israeli trains, but have never carried out such an attack. Police claim that this attack may have been driven by crime families in the area.
