Flemming Rose, the Danish journalist who published the cartoon of the prophet Mohammed that touched off a storm in the Moslem world. will speak in Israel for the first time at Hebrew University on Wednesday. The cartoon showed the Muslim prophet with bomb, and Muslim protests resulted in threats on his life and in several riots that killed several people.
He will speak in an English program entitled “Freedom of Expression – Victim of Religion?” The program will begin at 5 p.m. in the Handler Auditorium of the Truman Institute on the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University.
