The Samarian Jewish outpost community of Shevut Ami, next to Kedumim, was uprooted Thursday night by Israeli security forces. Three Land of Israel activists were arrested during the eviction.

The Land of Israel Faithful organization announced afterward that it would continue settling Jews in the outposts and noted that the eviction was the first carried out by an ostensibly right wing government. According to a statement by the group, "It's a pity the Netanyahu government did not carry out the will of the people who elected him to settle Judea and Samaria."
