Iran’s Reformist candidate for its presidency, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, stated that he has no intention to delay the uranium enrichment program. However, if he would be elected, he intends to assure that the nuclear advances would not be used for military purposes.

Mousavi, who is considered the main rival against current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, told the British Financial Times that a solution to the nuclear crisis could be reached by “technical negotiations.”
