Twelve year old Oren Mizrachi was killed on Tuesday when his friend accidentally shot him in the central Israeli community of Re’ut. According to police, the friend was playing with his father’s gun when he accidentally shot Mizrachi.
Police arrested both the boy and his father and may charge the father with negligence in the incident. The boy will be charged with killing his friend, but all indications point to a tragic accident.
