Newly-installed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu came on his first day in office to Jerusalem's Western Wall on Wednesday afternoon to offer his thankful prayers to G-d. A short while later, Netanyahu’s colleague in the Likud party, Minister of Education Gideon Sa’ar came to the Western Wall to offer his prayers.

Netanyahu chanted verses from Psalms, together with the Western Wall’s Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz. Netanyahu subsequently inserted a personal note to G-d between the cracks of the Western Wall. The Prime Minister additionally ensured that he would preserve the Jewish holy site’s sanctity.
