A kosher worm-free tequila will be available in time for the Mexican Cinco de Mayo holiday, which celebrates Mexico’s defeat of French forces on May 5, 1862.
New York businessman Martin Silver, president of Star Industries, will market a high-end kosher tequila for a retail price of $41.95 per bottle. The product will be launched with Mexican songs sung in Yiddish and Spanish on May 5. However, the drink will be available for the upcoming Passover holiday.
