Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Friday that his country is ready to resume mediation efforts in peace talks between Israel and Syria.
Interviewed by a Turkish television station, Erdogan said the negotiations could continue if both countries desire, stressing that it would depend on the approach of the new Israeli government. Turkey mediated four rounds of negotiations.
