The army rounded up 16 wanted terrorists without serious resistance in nightly counterterrorist operations in Judea and Samaria. The maneuvers are carried out almost every night and include cities such as Jenin and Shechem, where the Palestinian Authority has deployed armed special forces trained by American army officers, ostensibly to stop terrorism.

Wednesday night and Tuesday morning, the IDF arrested eight wanted terrorists in Shechem and a Jenin, five in Ramallah, two in Bethlehem and one in the area of Hevron.
