Shas leader Eli Yishai visited the protest tent for kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit Tuesday evening. He encouraged the family and emphasized that the government is responsible to return Shalit to Israel.
Shalit’s parents, Noam and Aviva, have camped outside of the Prime Minister’s residence in Jerusalem since Sunday. Also Tuesday, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s wife Aliza hosted the parents.
