The Counter-Terrorism Division of the National Security Council (NSC) published a comprehensive travel warning report on Monday. While the governmental advisory was released at this time to assist those many Israelis who are planning to use the extended Passover holiday next month for overseas travel, Israelis who are already in high-risk areas are being advised to leave.

The threat to Israeli Jews abroad includes the Hizbullah intention to kidnap or otherwise harm Israelis in retaliation for the assassination of Hizbullah terror mastermind Imad Mighniyeh in February 2008. Israeli businessmen, especially those with contacts in Arab or Muslim countries, are specific targets of Hizbullah agents, the NSC said.
