Teheran’s Chief Prosecutor, Sayid Mortazavi, announced that Iran will submit to Interpol an additional 15 names of high-ranking IDF officers, who they accuse of “war crimes,” for their involvement in Operation ‘Cast Lead,” reports the Iranian broadcasting service, IRIB.
Among the 15 additional names are: Naval Commander Eliezer “Cheny” Marom, Ground Troop Major General Avi Mizrachi, Logistics Commander Lieutenant Amir Eshel, and the head of operations of the Israeli Air Force.
On Sunday, Reuters reported that Mortazavi had charged 34 Israeli commanders and 115 soldiers regarding their actions during Israel’s military operations in Gaza. Mortazavi stated that the charges included “war crimes, invasion, occupation, genocide and crimes against humanity.”
