Iran began a test run of its nuclear plant on Wednesday. The test will not use nuclear material but lead instead, according to Iranian nuclear spokesman Muzan Shirazi.

The Iranian nuclear plant was built with help from Russia. The completed plant will provide 1,000 megawatts of power. Iran paid Russia over a billion dollars for assistance in building the plant.
