A Katyusha rocket fired from Lebanon hit an Israeli village near the Lebanon border early Saturday. Two residents of the town were injured by broken glass, and several others were treated for shock. Two houses were damaged in the blast. The Lebanese Army reported that a second rocket exploded north of the Israeli border. A Hizbullah spokesman denied that the group had fired the rocket at Israel.
In response, IDF forces fired artillery shells at the source of the Katyusha fire, about 10 kilometers north of the Israeli border. In a statement, the IDF Spokesperson's Office said that Israel held the Lebanese government and the Lebanese army responsible for the attack.
