Iran has built an unmanned surveillance aircraft with a range of 600 miles, according to the country's semi-official Fars news agency. It quoted Deputy Defense Minister Ahmed Vahidi, who said he could not reveal details on the development except to say it was a significant achievement.
The drone adds another potential weapon to Iran's growing arms development program. The country launched a made-in-Iran satellite three weeks ago, raising more fears it could be used to launch a nuclear weapon.
