Warmer than usual weather will prevail over Israel Thursday, with high temperatures 19 Celsius/65 Fahrenheit in Jerusalem and 24 C/75 F in Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva, but a drastic plunge in the thermometer is predicted for Thursday night and Friday. A severe winter storm is expected to bring badly needed rain from the north to the northern Negev.
High and low temperatures from Friday through Monday are forecasted at 6-3 C/43-37 F in Jerusalem and 12-7 C/54-45 F in Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva. It will be slightly colder in the hills of Judea and Samaria. Snowstorms will hit the Hermon and the white stuff may fall on in the northern Golan Heights and Tzfat, with a lesser chance of flakes in the higher hills of Judea and Samaria.
