Jordan has indefinitely postponed a previously announced plan to charge Israel with war crimes for Operation Cast Lead. Jordanian legislators had planned to travel to The Hague to file the accusations.
Officials from Amman explained that the delay is due to procedural matters but did not indicate if and when they will proceed with the charges. The Israeli government scoffed at the idea of going to the international court and noted that Jordan killed thousands of Arabs in the 1970s.
