Likud Party Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu said Monday night that he would seek the broadest government possible. Speaking at the Presidents' Conference in Jerusalem, he told leaders of major Jewish organizations "There's a lot of work ahead of us and it cannot be done by itself, but needs the support of the best, most experienced people in Israel. I want to create a government that will include these people, even if they're from another party, from outside of what is called 'the national camp', and I hope they'll agree.
Earlier, Netanyahu told a Likud party faction that he intended to put together a narrow government with the Likud's national powers, adding that he would talk to Kadima.
