Kadima: Likud Should Stop Trying to Steal the Gov't

Sources in the Kadima party said Thursday night that "Tonight, the journey that Bibi [Binyamin Netanyahu] and Likud activists are undertaking to steal [public] opinion and the government must come to and end." The statement came after the Central Elections Committee announced that with all the votes counted, the results of Tuesday's Knesset election stand, with Kadima taking 28 seats, the most of any party, one more  than Likud.

Noting that fact, a statement released by Kadima said, "Netanyahu must respond to the call by [Kadima  leader] Tzipi Livni to join a central national-unity government under her leadership." Political analysts say that Netanyahu could put together a coalition with at least 65 mandates.
