The Northern District Prosecutor recommended Thursday that the State Prosecutor appeal the three- and four-year sentences handed down to a pair of Druze men from the Golan who were convicted earlier in the day of passing information to Syria, according to Ynet. Prosecutors had asked for the men to be sentenced to 15 years in prison.
The two were convicted under a plea-bargain agreement that did not include the level of punishment.
