Dutch legislator Geert Wilders was deported by Britain and sent back to Holland on Thursday after he defied a ban on his arriving in the United Kingdom and flew to Heathrow Airport. Wilders was greeted by plain clothes officers and held for questioning before being sent back.
He had been invited by a member of the House of Lords to show his 17-minute film Fitna, which criticises the Quraan as a "fascist book", but on Tuesday Home Secretary Jacqui Smith banned Wilders entry because his opinions "would threaten community security and therefore public security" in the Britain.
