Aides to Attorney General Menachem Mazuz said that Arab MKs who participated in the funeral of terrorist George Habash in Jordan would not face criminal investigation. In response to a request from MK Eliyahu Gabbai to investigate those who attended the funeral, top aide Attorney Raz Nizri said there was “no place” for criminal charges. The issue must be dealt with in the public and parliamentary spheres instead, he said.

Egyptian Member of Parliament Mustafa al-Kitani, was speaking during a special session of Parliament called by the Muslim Brotherhood, urged to wipe Israel of the map. The session focused on the subject of Israel’s repairs to the Rambam (Mughrabi) Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, which Muslim leaders claim are an effort to topple the mosques on the Temple Mount.
