The meeting between Kadima chair Tzipi Livni and Yisrael Beiteinu chair Avigdor Lieberman ended around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
During the meeting, Livni told Lieberman, “The public determined and decided who it wants to become the Prime Minister. This is the opportunity for unity, which could promote the issues that are also important to you.”
The two concluded that they would continue to talk. Later Wednesday afternoon, Livni will consult with Kadima officials regarding the available options for their forming a coalition government.
