Knesset Member Shelly Yechimovich (Labor) admitted Monday morning, "The time has come to tell the truth and say that Labor will not win" the election and will not form the next government. Party chairman Defense Minister Ehud Barak has been insisting that he is not giving up hope despite polls that show Labor will end up in fourth place.
MK Yechimovich also criticized Kadima leader Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni for an "illogical spin" that not voting for Kadima in effect is a vote for the Likud. She accused her of trying to steal votes from Labor instead of going head-to-head against Likud leader MK Binyamin Netanyahu.
