According to a new report by the National Councul for the Child, 67 percent of children aged 6-12 watch five or more hours of television a day. The report also found that more than half of the children who have internet at home surf for over two hours a day.

The report also found that over 34.2 percent of children in Israel live below the poverty line. In addition, reports of child abuse increased 67.3 percent between the years 1998 and 2007.
