Kids to 'Vote' on Govt. Site

The government will open a virtual voting station next Tuesday to allow children and teens under the age of 18 to participate in the elections. The votes will not be counted. The initiative aims to teach children about the democratic process.

The site was operational during the last national elections as well, and approximately 8,000 children and teens “voted” online. The results of the mock elections online were nearly identical to the actual results.
