A terrorist was eliminated by an Israeli army unit as he neared the southern Gaza security fence near Ein Shlosha Thursday evening. Soldiers opened fire after the terrorist pulled out a hand grenade. As a result of the fire, the grenade detonated, killing the terrorist.
There were no Israeli casualties in the incident.
