The International Court of Justice in the Hague, Netherlands announced Monday that it is considering trying IDF officers for war crimes. The court is the official court of the United Nations.
According to the court, its prosecutor is considering trying the officers for the use of phosphorous shells by IDF forces during Operation Cast Lead. The prosecutor began an investigation into the issue after complaints by left-wing and Arab groups.
