A Nahariya hospital reports 35 people were treated for difficulty breathing between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, in the wake of the heavy haze that covered Israeli skies during the period, according to Ynet. Most of those admitted were senior citizens with chronic heart and respiratory problems.
A doctor at the hospital said that the patients were treated with oxygen and inhalators. Some of them had to be admitted.
