Minister of Defense Ehud Barak told the cabinet Sunday that Egypt is working to prevent smuggling into Gaza. Barak said that weapons caches exist in Sinai which are intended to be transferred to Hamas.
Barak also told the cabinet that defense official Amos Gilad continues to travel to Egypt to discuss stopping smuggling into Gaza. Gilad traveled to Egypt most recently last Thursday.
