The latest pre-election poll, published Thursday morning in Yisrael HaYom (Israel Today) shows the Likud, led by Knesset Member Binyamin Netanyahu, widening is lead over Kadima, headed by Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni. If elections were held today, Likud would win 35 mandates and Kadima would have only 25, according to the survey.
Labor remains at 15 seats, and the other parties show little change. However, the poll also indicates that both the National Union and Jewish Home parties may not receive the minimum number of votes needed to win representation in the Knesset.
