In spite of the Gaza cease fire, the Israeli Foreign Ministry held two discussions Sunday on the closing of its commercial interest office in Doha, Qata, according to a diplomatic source cited by Haaretz. Qatar and Mauritanian announced on Friday that they are breaking off relations with Israel in the wake of the Cast Lead counterterror operation.
Sources in the Foreign Ministry are watching developments and hoping that Qatar will change its mind because of the cease fire.
