It was disclosed on Sunday that the Israel Defense Forces in Gaza have begun to thin out, in the wake of the cease-fire announced on Saturday night. Some of the soldiers left Gaza around 2:00 am Sunday, when the cease-fire went into effect.

Hamas and other terror groups announced on Sunday afternoon that they would not fire on Israeli troops in Gaza for seven days in order to let them leave.
