Magen David Adom paramedics report that eight people are lightly injured from the outbreak of a fire on Wednesday in a four-story building in Ashkelon.

The casualties, which include one infant, are suffering from smoke inhalhation.

In addition to the fire in Ashkelon, fire fighters are currently attempting to extinguish a fire in a chemical factory in Ashdod.
