A massive fire with heavy smoke has erupted Wednesday at the Agan Chemicals factory in Ashdod’s industrial area.

The director of Magen David Adom, who is at the scene, told Channel-2 News that there are no reports of injuries. In addition, security forces emphasize that the fire is not related to a rocket attack.

Fire brigades from the entire region have responded to the inferno. Ashdod residents in the vicinity of the fire are requested to remain inside their homes to prevent smoke inhalation.
