(IsraelNN.com) An Iranian ship transporting what has been purported as “humanitarian aid” once again attempted to break the Israeli blockade off the Gaza coast. IDF officials confirmed Wednesday that the Israeli navy contacted the Iranian ship. On Tuesday, Iranian reports stated that the IDF prevented the ship’s crew from reaching Gaza, a report that the IDF denied.

After the Egyptians refused allowing the ship to remove its load in Port Said, the ship continued towards the Gaza coast. An Israeli warship made contact with the Iranian ship and made clear to its crew that it will not be allowed to come any closer ashore.
