The Lebanese army and UNIFIL troops discovered Wednesday afternoon in southern Lebanon three rockets ready for launching towards Israel.

The troops neutralized the rockets. “The rockets were attached to a timefuse and were intended to be launched about an hour after they were found,” the Lebanese army announced.

Earlier Wednesday, three rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Israel. The rockets did not injure anyone or cause property damage. Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Maj.-Gen. Claudio Graziano spoke in the afternoon with IDF representatives and the Lebanese army and asked that they demonstrate restraint in spite of the incident.
