Two Arab residents of Jerusalem who work for an Iranian television network will be charged at the Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday for violating IDF censorship, according to police officials. Reporter Hadar Shain and his producer, Muhammad Sarahan would face serious charges in court, according to a police spokesman.

The two are accused of violating censorship rules during wartime by reporting on the IDF’s entrance of ground forces into Gaza hours before the media was permitted to report on the IDF’s military action.

The suspects pleaded not guilty, maintaining that they merely reported on what was already broadcast on international media.
