Some 2,700 eleventh and twelfth grade students in Beersheva will go back to school Sunday, with classes to be held in safe rooms and bomb shelters. The students will be preparing for matriculation (bagrut) examinations, and will be instructed on how to proceed in case of attack by officials of the Homefront Command.

Education Ministry officials will decided Saturday night whether or not to allow students in Sderot and other towns near the Gaza border to return to class Sunday. The schools within 10 kilometers of the border are protected against rocket attacks, and the classrooms are considered safe from damage.
