The “Our Land of Israel” movement, other nationalist groups and Jews expelled from Gaza in 2005 have begun a campaign promoting a return to Jewish towns in Gaza. The campaign's slogan, which can now be seen on buses and in advertisements, is “There is a solution: Return to Gush Katif.”
Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe, one of the campaign's initiators, explained: “The people of Israel understand now that the solution of retreat and giving the Palestinians more territory is a huge mistake that threatens the Jewish nature of the state of Israel.” Rocket attacks like those in the south will take place throughout the country if more land is given to the Palestinian Authority, he added.
