The IDF is investigating reports of gunfire around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, near the town of Shiloh.

The IDF's Central Command closed last Thursday the areas of Judea and Samaria out of concern for an escalation resulting from IDF's military operations in Gaza.

The historic town of Shiloh, located north of Jerusalem in the Binyamin region, was the site of the biblical tabernacle prior to the building of the first Temple by King Solomon.
