(IsraelNN.com) Hizbullah has increased the readiness of its terrorists, according to a report in Tuesday's London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Hayyat. According to the report, Hizbullah says the alert status is a defensive one, in spite of threats by Hizbullah leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, to bring his forces into the fray between Israel and Gaza terrorists.

Lebanese sources told the newspaper that Hizbullah is seriously monitoring Israel's counterterror campaign in the Hamas-controlled area, as well as the call-up of thousands of Israeli reservists, some of whom are being sent to Israel's northern border area. The sources say Hizbullah is afraid of a surprise attack by Israel.
