The Bank of Israel announced Monday that residents in areas affected by the war in Gaza are allowed to withdraw from their accounts up to an overdraft of 5,000 shekels. Businesses may withdraw in overdraft up to 10 percent of their annual income.
In addition, the Bank of Israel called on banks to help residents in any way possible. Banks will also establish roving bank stations in areas where residents cannot easily reach their banks.
