New York City billionaire Mayor Mike Bloomberg, New York Congressman Gary Ackerman and city police commissioner Raymond Kelly are in Israel on a solidarity mission that was unpublished for security reasons.
The leaders are expected to visit Ashkelon, and Sderot, which have been bombarded by terrorist rocket before Saturday night's IDF ground invasion of Sderot. Mayor Bloomberg is scheduled to return to New York on Monday.
