There will be no school Sunday in any city within 40 kilometers of Gaza. The decision to cancel classes was made by the Homefront Command in light of the beginning of an IDF ground operation in Gaza.
Classes have been canceled in several cities since last week due to frequent rocket and missile attacks from Gaza. A school in Be'er Sheva sustained a direct missile strike last week, but students were not in school and nobody was hurt.
